Hello Again!

You probably know that Metro Louisville's leaders are promoting a vision of the city as  progressive and they agree that dynamic cultural organizations are essential to a progressive image. But did you know that the Arts and Cultural Attractions Council (ACA) of Greater Louisville Inc. is preparing a multi-million dollar cultural blueprint for the city?

As Kentucky's only professional African American Theatre Company, Juneteenth Legacy Theatre is essential in any vision of a culturally progressive Metro Louisville. We owe it to ourselves and future generations to make certain our interests are reflected fully in this multi-million dollar cultural initiative. Juneteenth Legacy Theatre seeks sponsors who share in its vision of a culturally progressive Metro Louisville.

We believe that you share a vision of a culturally progressive Metro Louisville, and that you would invest $100 or $250 as a sponsor of our 7th season which features the music cabaret, The Best of the Genius of Ray,and the 7th Annual Juneteenth Jamboree summer festival hosted by Actors Theater.

How will your investment be used? It will go to infrastructure support. Although rent, salaries, etc. are not as glamorous as shows, recent events in the Gulf Coast states have shown the value of a solid infrastructure. While Juneteenth Legacy Theatre enjoys good program support from various foundations, corporations, and government entities, it receives little infrastructure support.

What is the return on your investment? At the $100 level you get 2 admissions to The Best of the Genius of Ray and the complimentary pre-performance reception. At the $250 level, in addition, you get 2 Jamboree passes and autographed show posters. At either level of sponsorship, you get recognition in JLT's publications and the knowledge that you are a player in the vision of a progressive Metro Louisville.

We look forward to seeing you at one of the pre-performance receptions, exclusively for our sponsors, 6-6:30 pm, during the run of The Best of the Genius of Ray, at Big Hopp's, 800 W. Market St., October 20-23, 2005.

Sincerely,
Lorna Littleway,       Regina Lang,
Founder/Producing Director Campaign Sponsor Director
